What platform do you use for building websites?

We use WORDPRESS for building business and eCommerce websites. WORDPRESS is the most popular CMS (Content Management System) and powering almost 28% of websites on the internet.

Do we use ready-made templates?

No, we don’t use any ready-made templates. We build custom themes according to customer’s requirements. All of our websites are built on the latest WORDPRESS version.

What is the process from start to finish?

The whole process is divided into three stages i.e. Design, Development, Deployment. First, we design all pages of the website and send to the customer for review. Once the website design is approved, we start building the website on WORDPRESS CMS. The completed website is uploaded on our test server and shared with the customer. The customer reviews the website and sends us feedback. Once both parties are happy, we upload the website on the live domain.

What is the turnaround time?

Starter Package – Between 1-2 weeks.
Small Bz Package – Between 3-5 weeks.
eCommerce Package – Between 4-7 weeks.

The timeline also depends on when we get website content including images and text from the customer. Generally speaking, the website will only take a long time if we are still waiting for text and images from yourself.

Can I modify the content after website is completed?

Sure, you can easily edit the content including text and photos. WORDPRESS is a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) and requires little technical knowledge.

What information is required to place an order?

Depending on which web design package we agree on we could need…

  • Images to be used on the website.
  • Content for the website e.g. text, PDFs etc.
  • Any Videos you would like adding to the website.
  • Login details to your existing website.
I am not familiar with WORDPRESS, Is it easy to use?

WORDPRESS is an easy to use CMS. After the website is live we provide full support and help you in understanding the CMS.

What is the payment schedule?

This is the payment plan that we set up for most of the websites we build.
This may alter slightly depending on how big the project is. Please see the quote for the actual pricing plan.

We usually split up the payment into three like this…

  • 50% upfront at the time of project sign up.
  • 25% after 4 weeks or on design approval.
  • 25% at project completion or 6 weeks after project signup whichever comes up first.
How do you define "project Completion"

A project is considered complete when we hand over access to the backend administration system.

Do you provide hosting?

Yes, we do. Our hosting package starts from $39+GST/Month. It includes an SSL certificate, 2 GB storage and 10 GB traffic.

Do you provide text copy for the website?

Yes, we can write website copy but its an optional extra

Will my website be mobile friendly?

Yes. Your website will be fully responsive and will look great on all devices. We don’t charge extra for this. It comes as standard.

Will you buy stock images for me?

Yes. We will purchase the images for your website. We use stock image websites such as shutterstock.com to buy professional images.

Do you only serve customers in Auckland?

Most of our web design clients are based in Auckland. Although we serve clients and business owners all over New Zealand.
